wifi eee pc 901 информация к размышлению

установив fedora 10 наткнулся на сообщение:

Eee PC 901 Eee PC 901 wireless chip is Ralink RT2860, which is not supported by current kernel (work on support is in progress), but there's an open source driver provided by Ralink. RPMFusion has an akmod package with this driver (akmod-rt2860). Fn+F2 doesn't work here, either.

фраза which is not supported by current kernel (work on support is in progress) имхо должна быть девизом 901 :)
на самом деле драйвер доступен в исходном виде:

знакомые купили это "чудо" в исходной прошивке нет поддержки русского языка и utf8: если задумаетесь о покупке этого плеера - то знайте он не поддерживает utf теги, но прекрасно работает с 1251.
